Meet Anastasia

Bucsis competed as a speed skater for Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. She retired in 2017 due to a serious knee injury. She in an advocate for the LGBTQ community and mental health, both issues that hit home for her. Bucsis now works for CBC Sports and hosts the podcast, "Players Own Voice".

Where Is She Now?

Bucsis now works for CBC Sports and hosts the podcast “Players Own Voice.” The goal of the podcast is a simple one- to interview world class athletes as human first, and athlete second. She is an advocate and speaks publicly about her struggles with identity and mental health as well.
