Meet Tanya
Tanya Luna is from Oceanside, California and plays on the offensive line for the San Diego Rebellion. She captained the Rebellion in 2019, was a 2017 Offensive Line/Defensive Line All Star, and earned All American recognition in both 2018 and 2019.
Tanya hopes that women and young girls will look at her and think, “If she can do it, I can do it”.
Being a professional athlete is only one of the hats that Tanya wears. She is a mother of two, a model, a business owner, and a teacher. Tanya is dedicated to the enrichment of children’s lives, as well as the growth of women’s tackle football.

“The day we chose to play on the offensive line was the day you chose to live in the shadows. We chose to be the first ones blamed and the last ones acknowledged. We gave up the stars and limelight for humility and wins. We are supposed to be women of violence yet to be protectors. Anyone can run full speed, but we are the ones who stop their charge. We bring the pail and the blue-collar to work, and we clock in. We are the determining factor in a game So, when choosing this life, we know it gets real in the A and B gap.”
